Helping clients restructure their business so that they can enjoy retirement with the fruits of the labour, planning for those “what ifs” in one’s personal life, and closing on that purchase of a client’s first home are just a few of the experiences that keep Omar driven in his practise of the law. 

Omar joined Ascendancy Law Corporation in 2022 as an Associate and offers a full-service practise in each of our service areas. A dedicated lawyer, Omar is passionate about getting to know his clients, their businesses, and their current and future legal needs.  

Omar is a “transplant” from Ontario, having grown up in Toronto, obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Western University, and Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor. After articling at a large regional firm in Ontario, he made the move to Vancouver, BC in 2016 and has been a proud British Columbian ever since. Prior to joining Ascendancy Law Corporation, Omar practised at a boutique downtown Vancouver firm. 

Outside of work, Omar enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, as well as immersing himself in different cultures when travelling, reading a good book, learning about new technologies, including A.I., as well as sampling different wines and trying his hand at new dishes in the kitchen.
